Meet The Black Mark
I had to learn how to be business-minded or as we call it today a "Hustler" at a very young age because we needed money at home, so I went from selling newspapers and vegetables on the weekends to sweets, chips and vetkoek with mince at school. With the realisation that I am driven by creativity, colour and working with my hands, it led me into the hospitality industry after graduating from high school because I enjoyed seeing the joy in peoples faces when they had my food, which led me to becoming a chef and being in the food and beverage industry and then creating Black Mark Communications.
